Ala Gypsy: The day my children stole each others thunder

Never ever will this gypsy forget the 9th January 2007........I had to ask myself and everyone around me: "What are the chances of this happening to one family in 24 hours" ??????
Megan, (13 going on 14), is going to senior school and being the youngest, the dramaqueen, the performer and the terrible teen that she is, expect all attention on her...and a lot of it, if you please!! Until.............
Big sister Ingre and her husband Seef told us the wonderfull news that they are expecting their first baby and our first grandchild. Oh wow, what a magic moment.....a little bit more magical and brighter than going to senior school.........We raved and danced, rejoiced and had a party. Until........
Big brother Johann anounced that he and Tarina are ALSO expecting their first child, and being the eldest, that demanded some attention. The chance that the babies are due in the same week is also very very good. So there everybody goes again....laughing, celebrating, dancing, rejoycing. BUT....
I know in the deepest of my heart that each one of them felt that the others stole a bit of their magic.....and I feel!!!

Yep, moms get flooded with news and us "kids" demand attention. But moms are pretty good at seeking attention too... at least mine is.

I just posted your listing at BBD. Thanks.

...maybe so, but twirling the magic wand, singing in the New year with such blessings, and dancing amongst them will surely wipe away those brief feelings. Your days ahead will be a celebration of many first, and that will make for many rainbows in the heavens!
