Ala Gypsy: It just struck me as incredible......

This past Sunday I had a "lazy day" and spent some time browsing through links and blogs...amazed at the beautiful, beautiful things posted there.......there are so many talented people out there making the most amazing things and then they go out and find wonderful vintage and antique things and show it to us to get inspired as well

I saw beautiful design sites, sharing ideas, options and marvelous finds, stimulating me and inspiring me in such a way that I wanted to redo half of the house.......I read poetry and soulful words.......was transported into a fantasy world........danced with gypsy`s and sang with them under the stars

It just struck me as so incredible that here in virtual space, there is a created "world" and community where we get to know one another, share with one another, inspire one another, encourage one another even open up to some of our most personal issues and become friends.......how blessed I am to be a part of that.....

I know, isn't it fun doing some blog hopping and get inspired from so many people? I really enjoy it. Oh, and thanks for sharing the link for Merveilles en Papier! Love it.

It is absolutely incredible. I can't believe that only 9 months ago I didn't even know what a blog was and that none of this was in my life!

Blogging has opened up a whole new world to me...literally! And coming from Australia where I haven't seen much of it, I love it!

I know, I know I feel the same way...it is strange how blogging has really made me feel connected to people...

this weekend I had my first virtual blog slumber party, and it was amazingly fun, you have to "come" next time, it was so very wonderful.

It really is a wonder. I'm scratching my head everyday over it!!! Sometimes I wonder if I don't love my internet friends more than my close by ones. FUN FUN FUN!

I vowed when I closed my business that I would share what I had learned over the years and it has been the best decision I have made. Along with learning new things myself it's lovely to have so many like minded friends out there.

What a great post! Yes, there is so much inspiration online, so much to "refill our creative well" with and so much eye candy. A lovely sense of community too. I'm so grateful I finally decided to start my own blog (I hesitated about it for months!) for it is connecting me to wonderful creative people and kindred spirits.

I was just thinking about this over the weekend while trying to explain to my mother why I "waste my time" on the internet so often...

It's more than wasted time, isn't it?? :)

It really is hard to explain the fascination of blogging and reading other blogs to those who don't do it. It is a whole new way of connecting.

You are absolutely right, Blogging is sooo inspirational - There isn't a day that goes by that someone hasn't given me a really good idea or made me feel really happy.

Good evening, Gypsy Purple ~

Thank you so much for coming to my blog and leaving comments. I still think of myself as rather new to this and don't think I've quite found a niche for all the random thoughts and unrelated posts that have found their way to my blog. But I do love having this venue for self-expression, and the fellow bloggers I've been blessed to meet have been wonderful! Please visit any time!

Hello! First of all I wanted to say thank you for visiting my blog, and leaving such nice comments...it's wonderful to "meet" you =) My grandfather came from Croatia back in the early 1900s and my mom always told about our "gypsy roots", so it's great to meet another gypsy =) I love your blog, and will definitely be a returning visitor. Your words and photos are inspirational and lovely! xxoo, Peggi
