Ala Gypsy: My creative space......

I can`t wait

I`m busy clearing and organising the room that will in the course of the weekend become...... my workroom...my study....my studio.......my creative place....with all the things around me that inspire me........

I`ve waited many years for this, as every time it almost happened, we needed another bedroom or storage space.......so......I`m taking my time......enjoying every decision........how will I decorate......what interesting containers will I use to store all the scraps and pieces.........how will I arrange everything.......

I just can`t wait.....

Every woman should have a room of her own. Isn't that a quote or title of a book? Good idea in any case.

I know exactly how you feel. I've had my studio for about a year. It's a dream to have my own space. I'm still and always working on it!

Hi! Have lots of fun making it all your own space - what a great way to spend the weekend! I've just been catching up with your previous posts and saw the one about Priscilla Jones - you may like Paula Shepherd's work too, her web address is: www.paulashepherd.com

Have a great weekend!

Gypsy Purple, congratulations!
I'm still spreading my stuff on the dining room table, but there's hope for a room of my own in the not too far future. ;-)

Linda:
"A room of one's own" by Virginia Woolf, one of my favorite books (a must-read imo, not only for girls),
can be read online, thanks to the Library of the University of Adelaide, Australia.

I'm so shocked! The image you have today was my front page on my website (now closed, but parked...just in case) I had this image on business cards and banners everywhere.

I understand what you mean, it's very exciting just like when you were a child and you are expecting the bedroom of your own ..

How fun! What a wonderful time you will have creating your own space! We too have the not-enough-bedrooms problem, so at the moment my only personal space is my side of the bedroom! =)

Isn't that the most exciting event? Your OWN space? I used to have one under the stairs - couldn't even stand up, no electricity, but it was ALL MINE and I'll never forget it. Do post photos for us!
