Ala Gypsy: I`m still making magical music......

This past week I rediscovered an old truth....one I "rediscover" a few times every year .........the absolute truth that I have to make my own magic!!!!!

What a brilliant example this last two weeks was---around me was: love...fun...family.....memories......holidays.......joy.......hugs and peace. Mingled with that throughout the same time, was disapointment......heartbreak.......tears.......hurt......

So where will my focus be....cause the disappointment is big enough to keep me in tears for a while........

I have a choice.......and I`m the only one who can make it.......no one else can do this for me....and so I choose........to stay in the magic and linger in the glow of the love......and be thankful for the peace and the family and the memories.......and how grateful I am.......

So I`m still making magical music....and if you listen for just a while, you will hear it....and join me........

Have you ever made angels out of gorgeous paper? I saw an exhibition once of extraordinary and enormous paper angels that were hanging from the ceiling and walls of a hair salon. I was in awe and couldn't understand why these fabulous, winged creations were in a mundane environment. It turns out that the self effacing woman artist who made them, had kept them in her house. Her cousin who was the salon owner hung them for her customers to enjoy. And then one day an art critic showed up for a trim and voila, the paper angels flew to New York. They were exhibited at a classy gallery. I would say paper rags to riches except angels can never be anything but rich. My favorite was a five foot tall blue one. I looked on the internet and couldn't find anything about them. This all happened around the year 2000. Since it's kind of a magical, faery story I thought you would be able to relate to it.

I make the same choice as you do,to stay in the magic and linger in de glow of love. The family ties is not to be broken, even though disappointment with tears will continue to emerge. I love life with both positive and negative experiences..we all learn do deal with it and learn from it. Even though it can be very difficult. It makes you stronger!
Enjoy the weekend with all it has to offer, love from Aina :)

Such beautiful words and so very true. We, alone, are solely responsible for our own happiness, peace and attitude in life. You have such a sweet spirit about you! ~ Take care, Dawn

Oh Gypsy - so true - find the light and go towards it. Life is too short to dwell in the sad sides of it - cry, learn, accept and move on.

Gypsy, there is so much truth and wisdom in your post. I wish you lots of love and hugs, and more laughter than tears.

With love, Andrea

Such wise words... I am trying to do this same thing in my own life. Sometimes it is so much easier to "give in" to one's own misery, but that road only serves to diminish so much of the joy that life does have to offer ~ even through the storms. Sending you a loving hug. xox Deb

So true Gypsy. You can choose to feel haunted and hunted or you can glory in the goodness that life gives you. That is a renewable lesson nearly as valuable as a renewable resource.
