Ala Gypsy: Lovely long weekend......

We have a lovely long weekend of 5 days here in South Africa.......being sorry for myself that I am not one of the lucky one`s that is going to the sea or the Game Farm or a holiday resort (I won`t tell everyone that I was waiting till the last moment and couldn`t get ANY reservations....)......I made the best of it and organised exciting trips for every day......

Yesterday was Mall Day (Megan`s choice...)....glad hubby wasn`t here.....we did lots and lots of shopping.......and had a ball

Today we are going to visit the Oriental Plaza again ...I blogged about it a while back.....I need some material and some braids and ribbons and there`s no better place than this.....and above all.....it`s an exciting experience........

I have to hurry this post.....get ready.....and go........

I see you've posted about some wonderful designers! Elizabeth and Debbie are right here in Missouri. I hope to visit their shops, someday!

Sometimes the best trips and adventures are those close to home. It's all in the attitude, as you know.

Hello Miss Gypsy!
Boy oh boy I have missed alot of eyecandy in this weird month of busy-ness. I think I would like to become a speck who lives in a magical house decorated with all the furnishings in the pictures you've posted.
Not to mention, your beautiful daughter's b-day party!! 14~ ahhh, same age as mine as well. Please adopt me and throw me a fabulous party like that as well :)

What a fun time you must have had. I don't mind traveling without reservations. I like the spontanaity of finding shelter as I go. But not so, DH. Oh well, I can live with it. I checked out that Plaza earlier. Fascinating place. Just had a friend in S.A. last month. And another last year. I think I need to travel to YOU. They loved their adventures.

Looking forward to seeing all the treasures you brought home that you mentioned in today's post.
