Ala Gypsy: Audrey Hepburn`s beauty tips......

Someone forwarded this to me in an e-mail....and I just kind of liked it ...maybe you would enjoy it too....

Beauty Tips by Audrey Hepburn

For attractive lips, Speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes,Seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure,Share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair,Let a child run his fingers through it once a day.
For poise,Walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed. Never throw out anybody.
Remember: if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find One at the end of your arm. As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

What always seem so impressive to me was how beautiful she was on the outside, but she really lived by those words. She only grew more beautiful as she aged, too. I love being reminded of anything to do with that woman!

I've always admired Audrey Hepburn and love this quote of hers too. I first read it a couple of years ago in a biography written about her. I can't remember the title just now, but I so enjoyed learning that she was truly beautiful, inside and out.

Did she not have one for defying gravity. Why does everything slip down as you get older when I never asked for it to?

No wonder Audrey was such a stunner! She didn't fall for prepackaged beauty potions in glass bottles sold for $89.99 at the local retail outlet.

Your previous posts are amazing with all the eyecandy from many wonderful blogs on the net! Lovely way to showcase each thing that's inspiring to many of us!

So glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day, my friend.

Audrey makes it way too easy to slip into a size 2! Let me get hold of one of the kids around the house at least, for a hair treatment.
(Sorry, just slipped from my loose lips, have been sitting way too long over books. I love Audrey, always have, and these are wise words, she's telling us!)
