Those who wish to sing always find a song.
(Swedish proverb)
When I visited Annie`s blog this morning......she reminded me of something that I promised myself and everyone out there I will do this whole year long.....I will make music.....I`ve only been humming under my breath this last week or so......bet you no one could even hear me.......so along came Annie.......
.....and I did what I often do when I loose a little bit of myself.......I got into an hour-long hot bath...of course with a cup of coffee and talked to myself ...."Myself"...I said..."...we are not going to let this happen...we are not going to loose moments, hours, days and precious time....we are going to live it...the moment.....capture it and sing about it".......so I`m singing....singing about the few days that I lost, but it is not a sad song..........I am happy that I found the melody....although a bit on the melancholy side.......I plan to turn it into a hey-diddle-diddle.......

You are so special :) I have never met anyone that could write so beautiful as you, so full of mystery, so full of poetry..I have to analyse this and i think i know what you mean. That we should stop and think about how lucky we are, to enjoy our life and be more grateful for our life`s...I am singing now, i am..Because i feel happy...with life!
Thank you so much my girl for always leaving me so sweet messages, love from Aina ;)

I love the way you use words, and I can only imagine that the music you make would be breathtaking.
Your post is so moving and beautiful. It's such a wonderful message. I am just discovering your blog and I LOVE it! I can't wait until I have more time this evening and I can look at all of your past posts. I would like to add you to my favorites list if you don't mind:) Love, Jamie
"So true, I try to sing a happy tune every day...it hard but I try!!
Absolutely, charming.
It is wonderful. I have no word. I just want to listen to your song again and again.
Thanks.
What a lovely conversation you had with yourself. I think the best ones always occur in the bathtub! Keep singing!
Wow, talk about RIPPLES It started with Carmen. Came to me. Then went to you. It's a tidalwave of music and joy of life and living it with verve (and that last would be from Star). Loved this post C. Gave me a warm glow and encouragement to get happier and snap me out of my melancholy too.
I would give anything to spend a day in your house. Please don't make me sing though I'm rubbish.
Good for you, Whenever i'm in my BATHTUB, I can think up lots of ideas and ITS SUCH A PEACEFUL time for me...nice. :)

Singing can be done softly and with no words at all.
I hear your song.
I sing all of the time. My poor husband gets constant concerts and I give really great performances in the car singing along with a CD. My family always used to sing in the car on vacations-I guess that's where it started.
A few years ago, I began singing the song, you speak of. I can hear it now. Thanks so much for this wonderful post.
Also, thank you for stopping by the back porch, with wishes for Xanti's birthday!

Back Porch Musings
I'm so tuneless I don't even sing in the shower, maybe on the odd occassion after a few glasses of wine on an occassion like let's say New Year's Eve :) It could be a good idea for keeping warm in this weather though. Have a happy day and keep well wrapped up.
Singing is like breathing to me,without it I die.
"Hey-diddle-diddle" to you, Gypsy! :-)
Last night, walking to and from the "Concert for Europe" by the Vienna Philharmonics at Schönbrunn Park, I revelled in the fragrance of the Linden blossoms and roses, of which parts of the park are full of, and listened to the music in me (you can guess the difference in seasons, can't you? *smile*).
Lovely to sing our own song!
It is the music of the spheres.
Happy to know you are singing!
Sherry, who also had to learn to sing
