I enjoyed this....

Back from holiday and just starting to catch up on ALL the many, many posts that I missed......I saw this and oh how I enjoyed it .......so sorry I missed it!!

My delightful friend Vanessa, from A Fanciful Twist, set everyone`s wishes free to soar and rise into 2008........she called everyone to send her their wishes..........."Why don't we round up as many wishes as we can, wishes for loved ones, wishes for ourselves, wishes for the earth, wishes for change, wishes for love, wishes for kindness :) Leave any wishes you desire in comments. I will then take those wishes, and, well, the rest is a surprise that I will share with you picture by picture. We are going to send them soaring... (feel free to leave your wishes in code if they are too personal)".....and setting them free she did.....read and see for yourself

Hello, dear friend !

I like your scarlet light-ball, dreaming till the clouds with your wishes, hanging above...

There's such a scene in the first picture of Terrence Malick, "BadLands" : do you know this picture ?

Kisses & friendship to You !

I'm surprised that anyone could be environmentally unfriendly enough to release helium balloons today. The best to hope for with helium balloons sent off is that they land and simply litter a street somewhere... but the reality is they will probably end up in a body of water, where they will semi-deflate and float about looking like jellyfish or some other sea creature... and then some poor animal will try to eat them and die a slow, agonizing death from having a balloon block its digestive track.
