French Find: A French Inspired Fantasy

Surrounded by a veritable menagerie of peacocks, miniature horses, cats, dogs, a donkey, and a sheep, entrepreneur Gina Galvin lives out her dream as a designer of French-inspired vintage-style accessories for the home. Amid a 130-acre estate in Grand Blanc, Michigan, she taps into her creative muse via her passion for nineteenth-century Paris and the understated elegance of the culture. Gina’s sprawling atelier overflows with her own original designs as well as one-of-a-kind pieces and collectibles from European flea markets. Her offerings include artwork, statuary, wrought-iron furniture, linen pillows, chandeliers, bamboo floor mats, birdcages, and terrariums—all of which she sells to wholesalers through her company, Peacock Park Design.

To view more of Gina Galvin’s creations and to learn more about her products, see “The Magic of Peacock Park,” on page 46 of the March/April 2010 issue of Victoria magazine.

  2. Oh, you do show us the most spectacular places and, what's good about it is that we can all take a little something from these beautiful homes and use it in our own homes. I just adore the green ironwork conservatory.. Absolutely gorgeous. XXXX
