Gypsy Find: To dress a table...........

Those of you that know me, or regularly read my blog, know that I just love to entertain and host parties......I`m always looking for new ideas.......

Brides.com, is a stunning site to visit for inspiration when entertaining.........as I am from South Africa, I loved this African safari party.........as most of the year we entertain outside. All images are from their website

Heather, from Presentpast Collection, hosted a lovely bridal shower for her daughter.......

Photographer Jennifer Skog, got married and had the most fabulous bridal shower.....visit her site for more amazing pics. Link via Social Design (an event design blog)

There is a definite global trend of "Going green and eco"........I found this lovely ideas on the Faye and Greer blog, linking from The Hostess Blog......sharing with us about Harmony Walton, founder of Southern California's highly touted "Bridal Bar" boutique and the The Bridal Bar Blog, who wrote an article on going green with events........... (Images from Brides)

Elizabeth, from The Adventures of Elizabeth, had a stunning idea for an inexpensive, but creative table theme......she did this "paper" table theme for less than $40 and it took about 45 minutes from scratch to finish.........old books, paper, clear vases, and burlap and you have one festive gathering.......... I loved the use of old books as plate chargers

An eastern table is always a lovely idea........Style Court shared two fabulous eastern tables.......The first is from the fabulous home of Dianne Cash (Images from Southern Accents July - August 2006) The second image is from Vogue Living --(Fall 2006 edition)

A setting by the sea.....Designer Phoebe Howard arranged a colorful, nature-inspired table setting for a casual beach house luncheon......custom-made napkins, small corals used as place card holders, and individual flower arrangements help personalize the nature-themed setting. (Photo by Carlos Domenech). Via Southern Accents.

How about a citrus theme...........This is from a bridal shower that the fabulous Hostess with the Mostess, hosted for a friend of hers.......isn`t this lovely.....

Artfool, is always full of inspiration and ideas for events, parties and weddings........all images from their website.

I always have to peek at the newest Martha Stewart ideas .........this is for a Mexican party.......all images from her website.

Look at this lovely ideas I found on the blog Ljuvlight Hemma.....images from Better Homes and Gardens

Those of you living near Surrey in the UK, can make use of Idyllic Days......Idyllic Days is a one stop vintage hire shop for those planning, hosting or staging a themed event.....they have a lovely collection of mix and match china and vintage props, to create a stunning party or photo shoot.......images from their website.
