Gypsy`s Sunday Spot: Okavango Delta

If you`re living in Africa and you havn`t been to the bush every so often, you just have to take time out and go.....it`s in our blood....it is there where we find ourselves again and charge our batteries.....and the nice thing about South Africa, is you don`t even have to travel far.......but today I want to spend the day in one of the most beautiful nature spots in Africa......the Okavango Delta in Botswana....a wetland paradise, containing roughly 95 percent of Botswana's surface water and located within the arid Kalahari Desert......an area of unbelievable natural beauty.......so here we go........

.........I`ll start the day lazy.....

......and then for a fabulous safari...an elephant ride, lots and lots of animals, miles and miles of water, incredible birdlife and peace........

Africa Exclusive

......for the rest of the day I will be right here....reading, enjoying the wildlife and nature ....and just catch up with myself again.....

.....and before I know it the sun will set and the fires will be lit and we will all sit down to an african braai.....

Well I think I have just stepped into a little bit of pure heaven, what a wonderful way to spend a day or two with our Earth.

I think you are also the first South African to ever leave a comment on my blog, so I am absolutely thrilled to have you visit my blog here in Australia and thanks for leaving your lovely comment.

I hope you don't mind, I might just mull over your blog for a little, I have added you to favourite blog list and you now have a new follower from down under.

I'm so glad you dropped by,

This is absolutely beyond exquisite. I have a friend who lived in Africa for several years; she said it was the happiest time of her life.

You are out there right this minute?

There we go, the definition of living a beautiful life.

I love your pictures. Africa seems like a beautiful place to live. I love animals so I would most likely love it. Especially animals in the wild.
