I loved the "feeling" of this old house featured in Marie Claire Maison......rustic and eclectic....built in the eighteenth century, its facade was redesigned and restored under the Directory and then forgotten for a century.....
Thrilling...especially the top photo. What a story...and so utterly charming. Dying to know who lived there...the generations...to peer into rooms and family portraits. Thank you, Gypsy. Have a wonderful week. Trish
Ooh, I'd be very comfortable there! Looks as though they're expecting company in the second shot with sleeping bags or doonas rolled up in front of the fire. As Trish said, I'd love to know who lived there.
what stunning images....thanks for taking us on a wonderful tour...and thank-you for stopping by my blog...lovely to meet another fellow blogger....maureen lynne
