Heather H. Lenkin creates award-winning landscapes that combine beauty and history with the belief that design should be contextually appropriate and complement each client’s personality.
I just love the website that allows you to be interactive and "walk" through each garden...showing you where you are and enjoying the scene down each path.....The photographs are from the Lagunita Heaven garden in the portfolio section....go and have a look if you appreciate lovely gardens and great design.

Hello, Gypsy!
Really great and very nice garden!
Congratulations!!!!
Have a nice weekend.
Very nice and romantic garden! I like very much the statues integrated in the greennesse!
Have a good weekend!
What a gorgeous garden. I'm afraid that I love the more old-fashione garden rather than concrete and sparse planting.
This one is just wonderful. XXXX
those are stunning! and I really think I needed that - because it's still frozen tundra out here!
Hello Gypsy. Frozen tundra here in Massachusetts, too. Wouldn't you so love to have a garden like in today's post? Ahhhhhh, so nice to dream. Sincerely, Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com
Thank you for this beautiful link ! have a great Valentine's day !
How inspiring. I'm drooling. Just that peek at wysteria in bloom did it. Thanks for the journey. I'll check this out for sure!
Such a gorgeous place. When I lived in Southern California decades ago, I loved visiting Pasadena and the gardens that could be found there. This is new since that time. This is an excellent reason for a trip south, I think.
Thank you for the inspiration...beautiful.

let's get down and muddy~
it's time!
Hello Gypsy Purple,
It is a long way to South Africa from Pasadena, CA,USA- the miracle of the internet! I would like to know how you happened across the blog and website of my favorite plant-crazy landscape architect and favorite gardening friend,
Heather Lenkin? What she calls Lagunita Heaven is her own glorious garden (the recipient of her second "Golden Trowel" design award from Garden Design magazine, among numerous other accolades).
It has been published in magazines many times and as beautiful as the photos are, they never capture the sum total of loveliness that her garden is. If anyone is in town on April 25th, 2010 they may come visit it on The Garden Conservancy Open Days tour. If you can't make it, check out the older posts on her blog. Also if you are in need of some Spring, although fellow Aries, Heather, is somewhat quiet in the fall and winter, you will find that her blog spills over when Spring Fever hits!
I am both glad and sorry that I came across the Gypsy Purple blog-
you are a person after my own heart and will undoubtably be responsible for my future dalying on the computer checking out your archives and your links!
Happy Spring to come!
Janna K.
